Average InfoCube contains 50 characteristics. BW allows only 13 custom dimensions (16 minus the standard 3 dimensions). 50 characteristics can be grouped into 13 dimensions in over a trillion ways. Finding optimal model manually out of these possibilities is impossible. Moreover, relative size of the characteristics & relative usage of them have to be considered.
